Betfair was revolutionary when it first came into the market. Be warned Betfair is for the most part not your usual sportsbook, but you will come to know after this review that that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Betfair originally was only a "betting exchange", think of this as a marketplace where you can either bet on an outcome happening (the usual), or you can lay your own odds essentially betting AGAINST an outcome occuring. If you do lay your own odds, these are the odds that others end up taking when they place a bet on something to happen. Cutting the fluff out of the equation, I'm going to let you know that this is good because yes, you do sometimes get better odds than those found on traditional bookies. But, you will also sometimes not find odds on the event you are looking for because it may be too niche, and nobody layed any odds out for it.

In most places Betfair has evolved to also inlcude a traditional sportsbook product & in some places as well an online casino.
